My Story

Rajitha is neglected and treated poorly by her father. He was disappointed she was not born male, considers her a burden, and wants to marry her off illegally. While our social workers were in the field, Rajitha ran up to them and pleaded for help because she was mistreated by her family. They were able to talk to her parents about the implications of an illegal wedding and asked them to allow her to go to school. Thankfully, they agreed.  Your sponsorship will allow Rajitha to earn an education while living in a safe home.
