Mariamma lives in extreme poverty. Her parents rummage through the garbage searching for items they can sell. The village they live in has a high rate of alcoholism and incest and is dangerous for a young girl. Mariamma is neglected, malnourished, and lives in extremely unhygienic conditions. Her parents can not afford to send her to school on their meager salary. Your sponsorship will allow Mariamma to attend school and live in a safe house where she will receive proper nutrition, bathe regularly, and sleep on a mattress. Mariamma will be taught that she is valued and valuable.

Under IGP’s care, she will receive a strong education, the ability to have a better childhood, and consistent care for her needs.
