My Story

Jeevitha has had the privilege of growing up in a loving home, but one that has experienced much hardship. Jeevitha’s mother tragically passed away after giving birth, due to complications, which was very hard on her father. Thankfully, this has not turned into bitterness towards Jeevitha, but instead a great love for her, and he has not remarried. Although he has created a loving home, he is not able to provide financially for Jeevitha’s education.

One of our partners learned about Jeevitha’s situation and has since been able to provide support for her and her father. Your sponsorship allows them to provide Jeevitha with milk and nutritious and high-protein foods on a monthly basis. You’re also helping provide for Jeevitha’s tuition and transportation to school, while her father pays for her books and uniform. Jeevitha loves going to school and learning, which is so important at such a crucial age in development. 

With your help, she will continue on a completely different life trajectory than she would have otherwise had. Without support, Jeevitha would not be properly nourished—putting her health at great risk—and she would not have the opportunity to go to school. Having an education is life-changing, especially for a girl like Jeevitha, because it enables her to be independent and choose her own path.
