My Story

Haneera, the only child of her parents, experienced discrimination and neglect from her father, who yearned for a son. Despite having completed the fourth grade and showing a keen interest in education, her father halted her schooling, insisting she work as a farm laborer. He viewed her as a burden and intended for her to earn her own dowry. With her illiterate and dependent mother unable to shield her, Haneera faced a bleak situation.

However, hope emerged through the intervention of IGP social workers. They provided support for Haneera, enabling her to resume her education and aspire to a brighter future, free from mistreatment and neglect.
