My Story

In the town of Chandrapur, Roshni's family faced adversity with her father's alcoholism and unemployment. Tragedy struck when her mother, the family's sole breadwinner, succumbed to cervical cancer due to financial constraints. The family struggled to survive, forcing Roshan into child labor and Roshni into managing household chores. Exploitation, neglect, and the threat of human trafficking added layers of complexity to their challenging lives.

Hope emerged through the Chetna project at Duncan Hospital, which referred their case to the IGP project. Roshni's aunt rescued the children with the support of IGP social worker, ensuring their education and essential needs. Today, Roshni, enrolled in class 7, symbolizes resilience and the transformative power of compassion.

IGP intervention is a beacon of hope for a brighter, more dignified future for the once-troubled family.

If you choose to sponsor Roshni, you will play a part in providing her with the opportunity to create a better life for herself. Under IGP’s care, she will receive a strong education, the ability to have a better childhood, and consistent care for her needs. With your help, Roshini will begin to know that she is loved and valued.
