My Story

Divya lives in extreme poverty with her mother who is physically challenged, father and sister. Her father is a seasonal farmhand who does not earn enough to provide for his family as a lot of his earning go towards his wife's medical expenses. In order to help the family, Divya goes to work with her father. Divya's parents will marry her soon to alleviate the financial burden on the family. Your sponsorship will protect Divya from an early and illegal marriage. It will also allow her to attend school, live in a safe house where she will receive proper nutrition, medical attention when necessary, a bed, and she will be taught she is valued and valuable.
