My Story

Jemimah’s parents are separated. Her father abandoned the family four years ago, leaving her mother as the sole breadwinner. Her mother works as a housekeeper to support the children. However, because of her long working hours and the limited income, she struggles to provide Jemimah with adequate safety, care, and education.

Concerned about her daughter’s well-being and protection as a growing girl, Jemimah’s mother placed her in Home of Love, a shelter home, so that she could be safe and continue her studies without interruption.
