My Story

Hasini’s grandparents and father severely neglected her for being a girl. Refusing to accept her as their own and often blaming her for family misfortune, Hasini would sometimes go without food and suffer neglect from her father and grandparents simply for being female. A concerned relative reached out to IGP’s social workers who, after learning about Hasini’s situation, were able to intervene on her behalf. Your sponsorship ensures Hasini is receiving proper nutrients, food, and love for her overall growth and development along with ongoing counseling support from IGP social workers.
