My Story

Rajya Lakshmi's father passed away. She lives at home with her mother, brother, and grandparents. Because of their extreme poverty and belief that it is not worth educating a girl, Rajya Lakshmi has not been enrolled for the 2018-2019 school year. Her brother, however, continues to go to school. With your sponsorship, Rajya Lakshmi will be enrolled in school and live in a hostel with other girls and caretakers. She will be taught she is valued and valuable. She will visit her family during the holidays.
