My Story

Pravalika is mentally challenged and lives in extreme poverty with her family. Sadly, her home life is volatile with an alcoholic father. Her mother works as a farmhand earning a meager salary and uses most of her earnings to purchase Pravalika's medication. Pravalika is discriminated against as her parents will not allow her to attend school because they believe it is wasteful to educate a girl. They allow her brother to attend school, however. Your sponsorship will allow Pravalika to attend school while living in a safe house where she will receive proper nutrition, a bed to sleep on, medical attention if needed, and be taught that she is valued and valuable.
