My Story

Sweety is the oldest of three children. Her parents desperately wanted a son and when he was born, Sweety was neglected, treated as a housemaid, and eventually sent away to live with her grandparents. Her grandparents wanted her to do pay for her right to live with them and eat their food so they forced her to work in the fields as a day laborer. Sweety agreed to work as they agreed to allow her sister (who is younger) to attend school.

Sweety's desire was to go to school to become a lawyer one day. She is a bright girl who deserves the right to receive an education just like her brother does.

Your sponsorship will allow Sweety to attend school while living in a safe home where she will receive counseling from our social workers and be taught she is valued.
